I found a small bug in IE QuickStart that causes problems when saving certain settings and I released an update to fix the problem.

I received a bug report so I made a few changes and released another update for IE QuickStart, if anyone else has problems please report them. I also made a few minor changes to the web site. Hope everyone has a safe holiday !!

Hello, I released IE QuickStart v2.8.1. I have tested the changes with many different OS and Browser configurations but the end user (you) will play the final part in the process. Please send me an e-mail if you have any trouble, this release ends with an odd number (1) and that means it's not fully complete, I am still working on the internal help so you might see some funny stuff in there that does not make sense, that will all be fixed when I get v3.0 done. I know I said I was going to wait until v3.0 was complete but I think it's more important to get feedback on the changes and improvements.

Well I received a very small amount of e-mails but from those I now have more to work with. I am going to try to support Opera 5. I gave it a try for the first time and it looks promising! Besides supporting Opera 5 I want to support any and every browser and just rely on Internet Explorer for the extra features. I am still going through the entire project and changing a lot of code, and still no positive idea on the next release date. I am going to put a lot of work into this today and see what if I can come up with something to show everyone.

I am still working on IE QuickStart! I would like some more feedback on things you want changed. If you use this program and there is something you don't like or something you want to see added just write me and I will magically add them to the next version if it's possible. Some of the things I have come up with are Improved password logins, Whois lookup, and Improved Netscape support. Stay tuned for more info as I release it.

I decided to work some more on IE QuickStart, I have learned a lot since I made that program and I plan to add many more features! If you have a feature request please send them here. I found a bug with the current version of IE QuickStart, the Custom Popup feature currently only works for the first group in the list. I have already fixed this but I am not releasing an update until v3beta is ready! I still have a lot to fix and improve. Check out the IE QuickStart page (updated today) for more information.
