Something EVERYONE should consider BEFORE getting a puppy
Owning a pet is a privilege. Pet ownership should be a rewarding and loving experience. The type of behavior your pet exhibits indicates the time spent developing him or her into an ideal companion. Pet ownership is a commitment not entered into lightly. Pet ownership can be a nightmare with out the proper investment of time and training. Much like a child, your pet must be taught proper behavior to be a good citizen. This responsibility falls on your shoulders. If you do not have the time or patience, rethink owning a dog. If you wish him to be a companion that is welcome anywhere, then you must make that investment to teach him proper canine etiquette.
